Pilates:

Adriana Santoro is a PMA® Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher.  She trained through Polestar Pilates and is a professional Pilates for Rehabilitation Practitioner and Oov Fundamentals Practitioner.  Adriana was mentored by Kim Gibilisco and Katrina Hawley during her experiences with Polestar Pilates.  She has additionally trained with Deborah Harris, who is classically certified by one of Joe Pilates' star pupils, Romana Kryzanowska.  Adriana holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.  She is CPR/AED certified and has a variety of experience teaching virtually.  

 

Adriana enjoys thoughtfully designing and teaching individualized fitness programs for her clients based on her roots in Dance, Pilates, Exercise Science, and Exercise Psychology.  From personal experience and knowledge from anatomical, physiological, and psychological standpoints, she has a diverse understanding of rehabilitation that has made her a more empathetic and effective teacher in both Pilates and dance. She values Pilates as an intelligent and healing method of movement.  She also fervently believes that Pilates is one of the best, most empowering ways for all bodies to achieve dynamic fitness and wellness.  Ultimately in her instruction of Pilates, Adriana hopes to share the joy of movement with her clients and help them achieve fuller movement potential and quality of life.  She is actively involved in continuing education and looks forward to further connecting dance, Pilates, and physical therapy. 

Adriana teaches Pilates Mat and Full Apparatus classes including Reformer, Tower/Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Oov, and other fitness props.  She currently teaches at Club Pilates in the Greater Boston area.
